Hooghly , November 16 , 2024 : Yesterday at 6.30 a.m. our school authority organized a campaign on ‘EDUCATE THE GIRL CHILD’. There were many activities like Delivering Speech , Poster Making , Rallies , Essay Contest etc. Mr …………. , Education Minister of the state was the chief Guest of the Programme. The main aim of the programme was to create awareness among all about the importance of girl child. Teachers and the students joined in it enthusiastically.
The speakers highlighted the names of some females like Mother Teresa , Kalpana Chawla , PT Usha etc.Their speeches encouraged the girl students. Then there were poster making and Essay-Writing contest. At the end , students took out a rally holding banner and placards with messages like – Protest Girl Child , Educate Girl Child , Girls are the pride of the country and so on. The chief guest promised all types of help and co-operation for protecting and educating the girl children. Then the programme came to an end at 11:30 a.m.
