I hope you are doing well. It’s been quite some time since I received your last letter. I am writing this letter to share my wonderful experience of a cultural programme that was recently organized in our school.
(আশা করি তুমি ভালো আছো। তোমার শেষ চিঠি পাওয়ার পর বেশ কিছুদিন হয়ে গেছে। আমি তোমাকে এই চিঠি লিখছি কারণ আমি সম্প্রতি আমাদের স্কুলে অনুষ্ঠিত এক অসাধারণ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের অভিজ্ঞতা তোমার সঙ্গে ভাগ করতে চাই।)
The programme was held on 15th August, on the occasion of Independence Day. The entire school campus was decorated beautifully with colourful lights, flowers, and banners. A grand stage was built in the open courtyard, and the atmosphere was full of excitement and joy.

The function began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our Headmaster, followed by the National Anthem. Then our teachers delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Everyone felt proud to be an Indian.

After the speeches, the cultural programme started. There were songs, dances, dramas, and recitations performed by the students. I participated in a patriotic group song named “Vande Mataram.” It was an unforgettable experience for me to perform on stage in front of such a huge audience.
(বক্তৃতার পর শুরু হয় সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান। শিক্ষার্থীরা গান, নাচ, নাটক ও আবৃত্তি পরিবেশন করে। আমি “বন্দে মাতরম” নামে একটি দেশাত্মবোধক দলীয় গানে অংশ নিয়েছিলাম। এত বড় দর্শকের সামনে মঞ্চে পারফর্ম করা ছিল আমার কাছে এক অবিস্মরণীয় অভিজ্ঞতা।)
The audience clapped and cheered after every performance. Our teachers and parents looked very happy and proud. The drama performed by class X students on the life of Mahatma Gandhi touched everyone’s heart. The dance performances were vibrant and full of energy.
(প্রতিটি পরিবেশনার পর দর্শকরা করতালি ও উল্লাসে ফেটে পড়েছিল। আমাদের শিক্ষক ও অভিভাবকরা খুব আনন্দিত ও গর্বিত ছিলেন। দশম শ্রেণির ছাত্রছাত্রীরা মহাত্মা গান্ধীর জীবনের ওপর একটি নাটক মঞ্চস্থ করেছিল যা সবার হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে গিয়েছিল। নাচের পরিবেশনাগুলো ছিল প্রাণবন্ত ও উদ্যমে ভরপুর।)
After the cultural events, prizes were distributed among the best performers. I received a certificate of appreciation for my singing performance. It was truly a proud moment for me and my parents.

At the end, our Principal gave a short speech thanking everyone for their cooperation and encouraging us to continue participating in such creative activities. The programme ended with sweets distribution and a joyful photo session.

The entire day was filled with happiness, patriotism, and cultural pride. It helped us understand the value of teamwork and the beauty of Indian tradition. I will never forget this wonderful experience.
